Flipper Makes A Friend
A children's story by
Irvin Notley
Once upon a time, in the depths of the ocean among the corals, lived a little Murloc named
Flipper. Flipper was a curious and adventurous little Murloc, always eager to explore the
world.
One day, while swimming through the reef, Flipper came across a strange creature. It
was a small, colorful creature with bright fins and a friendly smile. Flipper was curious and
approached the creature to say hello.
The creature was delighted to meet Flipper and the two quickly became friends. They swam
and played together, discovering new things about each other and the ocean. Flipper was
overjoyed to have a friend who was kind and accepted Flipper for who Flipper was. The two
of them also shared a common curiosity for the unknown.
However, Flipper soon learned that their friend was a fish and that it was being bullied by the
other creatures in the ocean because of its unique appearance and place in the food chain.
Flipper stood up for their friend, showing the other animals that everyone is unique in their
own way, deserving of kindness and respect, and that it's wrong to make fun of a creature
based on their place on the food chain. From that day on, Flipper and the fish were even
closer friends
