Boralus is gripped by fear as the city reels from the recent discovery of two gruesome murders. The first victim, a young woman, was discovered near the Academy steps
The second victim, Frank Sabian, a man with alleged ties to the Kul Tiras admiralty, was found horrifically mutilated under a butcher’s floor in a cellar in the Dampwick Ward. Just days later.
Both bodies were found with their hearts removed in what officials describe as “disturbing surgical precision.”
The Boralus Guard is investigating what appears to be the work of a twisted, possibly ritualistic, murderer. Lieutenant Commander Pickens, disclosed that coins marked with the initials “TM” were left at both crime scenes.
To gain insight into the atmosphere surrounding these crimes, I visited The Groggery, a popular tavern frequented by locals. One inebriated witness, known as Utgarde, recounted her experience with Sabian’s discovery in the cellar, her words thick with drink yet disturbingly vivid.
“Imagine it!” she laughed grimly, swaying slightly.
“Frank Sabian – under our feet all this time, frozen like some ghastly slab of meat! They called him ‘Frostbite Frank,’ ‘The Glacier Guard’... frozen solid, as if he’d been on ice for months.”

When pressed for details, Utgarde was quick to add,
“It’s dreadful, really! There he was, heart ripped right out of him, like some twisted trophy. Poor Ham-ster,” she said, referring to her fellow worker,
“he hasn’t stopped pukin’ since!”
Despite her drunken state, Utgarde’s account painted a chilling picture of the cellar scene, one that only intensified the horror of what has come to light in Boralus.
## Official Warning from Lieutenant Commander Pickens
As fears escalate, Lieutenant Commander Pickens has issued a public warning to the citizens of Boralus. “This killer operates with a methodical brutality,” he said, describing the precise removal of the hearts as the work of a skilled hand, possibly surgical in nature. Pickens advised citizens to avoid travelling alone at night and to report any suspicious figures or activities, especially in the vicinity of the docks.
“These crimes are deeply unsettling,” Pickens concluded. “We urge the public to remain vigilant, to look out for one another, and to trust that the guard will pursue every lead to bring this killer to justice.”
