Stormwind City has been shaken by a series of bizarre and horrifying incidents that have left the citizens in shock. At the centre of this chaos are a string of explosions involving bodies that, according to witnesses, mysteriously played music before going "kabloom"—to use the words of one observer. The victims appear to have been targeted in a dark and twisted plot that authorities are still struggling to unravel.
A local woman first brought this strange phenomenon to light when she discovered a body in the Mage Quarter that suddenly began playing music.
"Me and a pal found a body, it started playin' music, so we left to find guards," Marlow explained,
"Came back some time later, and the corpse had boom'd." According to her, the music seemed to come from within the body, akin to a
"tiny orchestra."
However, more information came to light after a conversation with Sergeant Lea Darro and Cadet Bell of the City Watch, who have been investigating these gruesome events. They revealed that the first of these bodies, a female elf, had been sewn up with fresh stitches around the stomach area—where the ticking sound, which was mistakenly interpreted as music, was coming from.
“A bomb was placed inside the body,” Sergeant Darro confirmed, leading to the tragic death of cadet Sketch who attempted to intervene.

The ticking noise, which increases in frequency just before the explosion, has become a telltale sign of danger. Sergeant Darro cautioned the public, stating:
"Avoid any loud ticking noises if you're not sure where it's coming from."
In a disturbing escalation, a human woman was later discovered with a bomb strapped to her, though she survived the ordeal thanks to the quick actions of the guards.
"She didn't know how it got there," said Sergeant Darro, suggesting either drugs or some form of magic could be involved in manipulating the victims.
With the case still ongoing, no clear motive or suspect has emerged. However, Sergeant Darro urged the people of Stormwind to be vigilant and stick together, especially in the evenings when these incidents seem to occur.
"I advise people who want to go out at this moment in time to stick in pairs or a group. Always bring a friend if you can."
Citizens are advised to avoid corpses, ticking sounds, and to report any suspicious activities to the City Watch immediately.
