The Royal Library houses over 100,000 tomes and scrolls, making it one of the most extensive collections of knowledge in the Eastern Kingdoms. With public access it is almost always worth a visit if you like learning new things.
Stormwind is home to approximately 50 gryphon nests, with each nest hosting an average of three gryphon chicks annually. This contributes to the city's impressive gryphon rider force.
The total length of cobblestone streets within Stormwind measures around 27 miles, requiring constant upkeep and maintenance to ensure smooth travel for its citizens. How smooth that travel really is, might be up for debate. Some of those roads are more crooked than Lady Ashvane.
The majestic bells of the Cathedral of Light weigh a combined 25 tonnes and can be heard ringing out across the city every hour every day.
Almost no matter where in Stormwind you are located, you can find a mailbox close to you. But did you know there is still a huge difference on how close they are, depending on your location?

Five Bridge Conundrum
In Stormwind, there are a total of five bridges that cross the canals within the city. These bridges not only serve as practical means of traversing the canals but also add to the city's architectural charm, connecting various districts and facilitating the flow of both foot and vehicular traffic. Each bridge possesses its own unique design and character, contributing to the city's overall aesthetics while serving as vital conduits for its bustling populace.
The five bridges of Stormwind City presents an intriguing intellectual challenge that beckons exploration from a scientific perspective—the enigmatic "Five Bridges Conundrum." This perplexing puzzle presents an opportunity to delve into the realm of graph theory, a mathematical discipline that has paved the way for profound insights into complex networks and connectivity.
In this context, Stormwind's five bridges, spanning the city's canals, can be analyzed as nodes within a graph, while the canals themselves represent edges. The challenge, then, is to ascertain the feasibility of traversing each bridge exactly once while returning to the point of origin—a task that demands the application of graph theory principles to discern the existence of an Eulerian path.
But perhaps that is a topic most readers don't care much for... so how about we end with something a little easier on the brain?
Getting "hydrated"
If you enter the city by the city gates from Elwynn Forest it will take you 4 minutes and 1 second to make it to the Pig and Whistle. It will take you only 3 minutes and 35 seconds to reach the Blue Recluse.
If you want to go bar hopping, then the optimal path is by starting with the Pig and Whistle. Not counting time to order, get served and drink then you can hit all the bars in Stormwind in 15 minutes and 49 seconds if you start by heading to the Pig. If you go the opposite route, starting with the Recluse the trip takes you 16 minutes and 24 seconds in a normal walking pace.
