Editors Note: The following has not been edited or shortened. It is posted here in its entirety. While it was not initially addressed to the Lion's Roar, it is an open letter published in other media outlets. The Lion's Roar feel it is only fair we publish it here as it concerns articles written in the Roar. For those who do not know, then Sir Galford is associated with the Arathi Honor Guard who has been mentioned in a few articles over the last couple of months.
People of Stormwind,
Remember the name of heroes from Varian Wrynn to Anduin Lothar and Aegwynn the Guardian. These are the names of people who justly carved a legacy not only for themselves, but for the sake of us all. And if they did not exist? Perhaps we would be enslaved to the Orcs of the First War and their savage demon magics.
As a Knight of the Silver Hand, we were taught that cowardice is a dangerous tool for the weak and frightened. We must show compassion and thus guide them out.
In short, there has been baseless fearmongering in the City of Stormwind, and by all means I put an emphasis on the words baseless and fearmongering.
Article continues after the ad.

The Lion's Roar (for those of you who don't know) write and publish newsletters for the City of Stormwind, though in the absence of war, conflict and otherwise intrigue across the small scope of the Southern Region, they've chosen to cut corners and fabricate their own narratives. How would I, a holy man, describe it? Vanity and sloth.
Thousands of men and women from the Kingdom of Stormwind are deployed to protect the frontiers across Azeroth yearly, they brave threats in the barrens or worse which perhaps a handful of the City do not even appreciate.
Lester (the publisher) would rather drum up hatred within our City, whose reports are one-sided accounts, inherently biased and are by all means; dramatised stories of what in reality are fairly ordinary circumstances or mishaps within the City. In other words, nonsense for the sake of an audience.
I encourage the reporters of the Lion's Roar to settle this in a meeting, and look to the Light for guidance for their future endeavours.
Signed,
Sir Galford the Righteous
