The Lakeshire Town Council, in collaboration with the Cathedral Chapter, wishes to bring to your attention a recent incident of grave concern that occurred at Lake Everstill.
Recently, an unfortunate assault was launched by a group of malign cultists upon our beloved lake, a beacon of serenity and a prime resource for us all. The invaders, wielding Drust magic, have contaminated our waters with their sinister energy.
Though the immediate threat has been neutralized, the aftermath still poses significant risks to our health and wellbeing.
Those drawing water from Lake Everstill or consuming fish caught therein are advised to exercise extreme caution. The tainted waters may induce severe health issues, such as fever, dizziness, lack of energy, stomach pains, and other adverse effects.
If you or any members of your family start exhibiting any of these symptoms after consuming water or fish from the lake, please seek immediate medical assistance from your local healer or the Cathedral Chapter.
For the time being, it is advised to avoid consuming raw fish from the lake and ensure all seafood is thoroughly cooked before consumption.
Please note, water from the lake should be boiled vigorously for at least one minute before using it for drinking or cooking. However, the best course of action would be to avoid using this water altogether, if possible.

Cathedral Chapter Assistance
To aid our community during these challenging times, the noble Priests and Paladins of the Cathedral Chapter are providing the town with holy water. This sacred liquid, blessed by the Holy Light, can be used to treat your food and water supplies, thus making them safe for consumption.
The Cathedral Chapter, located in the Cathedral of Light, is distributing the holy water freely to all who require it. We urge everyone to take advantage of this generous gesture to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Furthermore, these divine warriors are working tirelessly to cleanse the lake of the residual taint using their blessings and the power of the Holy Light. We assure you that they will not rest until our lake is safe again.
Please stay vigilant, protect each other, and remember that in unity lies our strength. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
