    Read out loud
It has been awhile since I did one of these, but it felt like it was time to do a little spring cleaning and get a few things mentioned. First a bit of sad news. Gaedryel Ravenshade has decided to resign from her position at the Lion's Roar. She will no longer be affiliated with us as she has decided to walk down a different path in life. From market days to magic faires. From the personal travel articles to insights into history and archeaology. From news about serial killers to news about dragons. Gaedryel Ravenshade wrote a lot of articles for The Lion's Roar and she lasted as a journalist in this crazy world of ours longer than most who tried their hands at it. With a total of 75 articles as well as countless hours talking to people, following stories and writing it all then not having her to rely on will be rough and I will miss having her working for us. She was a valued and reliable employee. That said then we understand that sometimes life just takes you down new paths and what used to be, changes. We wish her the best. This leads me to the next bit. We have been trying to recruit new journalists for awhile. With Gaedryel leaving this has become more pressing than ever. If you think chasing down stories, interviewing people, travelling, and writing about it for the Roar sounds interesting then reach out and lets have a chat, who knows, maybe you are the new star reporter for The Lion's Roar, freelance or otherwise. We are not only looking for journalists however. We also have positions open for artists, photographers, hosts for various events, and authors for our publishing branch. Speaking of events and publishing. We are starting to put together the content for our upcoming seasonal magazine for summer, with a focus on travelling, vacation spots, and maybe we will sneak in a little fashion as well. As always then feel free to get in touch if you want to contribute with content, or want to buy advertisement in the magazine.

    Article continues after the ad.

The magazine "Walking and Wailing" - based on the ghost and murder stories written by Deedi Dirgefuse and Zhakariah is planned to have another release sometime in the next month. Stay tuned for more information on that. We have ideas for a few other magazines as well, but it is still too early to reveal too much about them. As for events then we will continue to do game nights with pub-quizzes, joke competitions and other games. As something new then we are working on a debate night - first one about religion - and The Lion's Roar Book Club will launch soon as well. A club where we meet once a month to talk about a book. And now for the final part of this editorial. How to "engage with the Roar". We sometimes get letters with no return address. Or a small note in our mailbox with no name attached informing us about something they want us to look into. We appreciate these letters and notes, but unfortunately we are often left with not enough information to act on it. So if you do insist on sending us a note with no name, then please try to give us as much information as possible. As always then feel free to reach out if you or your organisation is doing something you feel others might be interested in reading about. It does not have to be spectacular or dramatic, sometimes reflection is just as important. It can be anything from military campaigns to a book launch. We make no promises but we can gurantee that if we don't know about it, then we won't write about it. Thank you all for still buying and reading The Lion's Roar, our readers are important to us. __Kind regards, Hardhy Lester, Editor - The Lion's Roar Newspaper.__
